Milpitas, California, March 16, 2010 – Wintec Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer of DRAM Modules and Flash Memory storage solutions, has announced the Intel validation of its 4GB (Gigabyte) DDR3 800, 4Rx8, Registered ECC DIMM at 1.35V. The Registered DIMM is ideally suited for embedded applications that require High Density and improved efficiency for thermal requirements. The Module is equipped with a Full DIMM Heat Spreader to further optimize power consumption and add further stability and ruggedness for demanding environments. “Wintec is very pleased to have achieved validation with our DDR3L based 4GB, 4Rx8, Registered ECC DIMM on the Intel® Xeon® 5500 Platform allowing designers to take advantage of the power savings provided by using DDRL’s lower voltage of 1.35V”, stated Klaus Schwegler, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Wintec Industries.
